Cyrus Calendar

The imperial Iranian calendar

Cyrus Calendar is more than a way to read dates. It begins time at the founding of the first pan-national state (559 BCE) and treats the calendar as a quiet symbol of identity — a 2,500-year line connecting today to an ancient civilization.

It keeps the scientific accuracy of the Jalali solar calendar — among the most precise in the world — while the year opens with the vernal equinox and Nowruz. Our job was to honor that weight without making it heavy: bilingual English and Persian, careful typography, and a reading experience that feels both modern and rooted.
